Description of Job Titles
Technical Site Manager or Project Manager - This person should be experienced in the technical application and support of cutting tools, abrasives, hand tools and/or power tools as well as other typical tool crib items. The individual should also be able to manage a staff of local US Tool employees who work as tool crib attendants. This person will also be the liaison for US Tool with the customer regarding contact issues and compliance. Computer skills are necessary.
Technical Customer Support/Buyer - This person or people should be experienced in supporting cutting tools, abrasives, hand tools and/or power tools as well as other typical tool crib items as an inside sales person and/or buyer. This person will be the day to day contact with the customer. Computer skills are necessary, especially familiarity with Excel.
Delivery Personnel - This person should be capable to drive a mid-size delivery box van (no CDL required) for daily deliveries to the customer sites. This person should be experienced in the operation of a forklift.
Crib Lead - In addition to the duties outlined in the description for Crib Attendants below, the Crib Leads will be responsible for supervising the crib attendants in one or more crib locations.
Crib Attendants - This person should be experienced or capable to support daily tool crib receipts and issues to customer employees from an on site customer location. These personnel should also be experienced or capable to support automated vending machines. Experience in kitting and other advanced inventory control and distribution methods is desirable. Computer skills are necessary.
Crib Supervisor/Buyer - This person should be able to supervise and operate a small tool crib within a customer’s plant. This person will work in a self supervised environment and should be highly motivated and a self starter with outstanding people skills. This person should be capable to purchase material needed in the crib from local and national suppliers. Day shift work schedule. Computer skills are necessary.
